How that works is you are going to import them into the Kwik campaign, where the sync comes in. It syncs your previous customer base, you can choose the time frame and what data to load in, and it will automatically enter them into your brand campaign which will unlock some excellent tools. The sync does not mean you’re creating user accounts for those customers but just making it possible for them to share. They will still have to go on to create their accounts. Tools to Sync
To make this happen, we need a simple action.
When “New Customer” is added, THEN Add “Ambassador” to Kwik Campaign.
You can make this happen in several different ways depending on your brand.

Shopify Plugin
If your brand exists on Shopify, we have a premade plugin that is very easy to install and use. Please click here if you want to see a video on how to install that. If you install the plugin, the synchronization of your customer to the Kwik campaign will be automatic. But a sync does not mean they are active users and have an account; they will still have to sign up for Kwik, and you will have to explain the next steps naturally in the customer journey.

Zapier Integration
Zapier is a product that allows end users to integrate the web applications they use and automate workflows. So, if you want to use Zaps to integrate, it will be straightforward! Click here to watch our video on Zapier with Kwik automating the Ambassador Sync.
Zapier is only partially free and is priced by task usage. So customer syncing costs will depend on the number of customers you send to your campaign. This is recommended, though, because it is an automatic method that requires no manual effort besides the initial sign-up. If users can get added automatically, then they are more likely to start sharing right away and continue the momentum…Or “ride the wave” 😊.

Custom API
Suppose you have in-house developers or development capabilities yourself. In that case, our API is straightforward and can automatically perform the necessary actions to add your customers to the campaign.

Export and Import
Another hack to make this manual easy is to go to your eCommerce or CRM platform and export all your customers. The information that we need is:
First Name
Last Name
Email Address
And that’s it! Then download our Ambassador Import Template here and populate the columns with the correct data. From there, go to Ambassador Page and click “Import.” They upload that CSV file that you edited, and they should automatically get uploaded into your system!
We recommend you do this often so that those ambassadors will add those users to the campaign. If you ask them to sign up to Kwik, but they have yet to be added as an ambassador on Kwik, they will not have an onboarding experience around your brand and will not have a link to share immediately. They will have to wait for you to import them into the campaign.

Other Option
If you don’t want to share the data with Kwik or don’t want to pre-add emails, we have another feature that is the “Co-Branded Sign Up Page.” The Co-Branded Sign-Up Page is a unique URL for your brand, the Kwik sign-up page. The Sign Up page is special because it will track who comes there and ensure they get attributed to your brand. In addition, the page is customizable to your brand, and any user that comes through that link gets added to it, thus inheriting all the other benefits of onboarding and making sure they can share your brand right away.

Summary
Providing this integration and automation is a huge step in turning your customers into brand ambassadors. Getting a user into a campaign will make their onboard experience about your brand; it will give them a link to share and educate them about sharing.
When a user is in a campaign, you can generate unique share links for them. The share links can be used for displaying anywhere in your customer journey, such as post-purchase screen, order confirmation email, review the product email, invitation email, etc. You can give the user their share link before they even have a Kwik account, which is a vital tool for user adoption. There are many more benefits to this, so this integration piece is HIGHLY SUGGESTED.
